Your text
Text you enter into the generator is transformed entirely in your browser. It is not sent to FontGenerate or to any third party, it is not logged, and it is not saved between visits. When you switch the interface language, your text is kept in the page’s memory only until you reload or close the tab.
Copied text goes directly to your device’s clipboard. We do not record what was copied.
What is stored on your device
FontGenerate uses browser storage for two preferences:

Neither value identifies you. No cookies are set by FontGenerate itself before you give consent.
Consent
A consent bar appears on your first visit. Essential functionality never depends on it. Optional analytics and advertising scripts load only after you choose Accept; choosing Decline keeps the site fully usable. You can change your choice at any time from the link in the footer.
Analytics
FontGenerate is designed to measure whether the tool helps people complete their task without collecting the text they enter. Analytics events are limited to a fixed list — for example “a result was copied” with the style name, category, interface language, and page — and can never contain typed text, generated text, clipboard contents, or search terms.
No analytics provider is active at the time of writing. When one is introduced, this section will name the provider, the data it processes (including whether IP addresses are truncated), the legal basis, retention periods, and how to opt out, before any analytics script is loaded.
Advertising
FontGenerate does not currently show advertising. When it does, advertising partners, the consent mechanism, and the data they may process will be described here, and no advertising script will load before consent is given.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, your message and the email address you provide are sent by email to the FontGenerate team so that we can reply. They are not stored on this website. Our email provider processes them in order to deliver the message.
Error monitoring
When error monitoring is introduced, reports will contain technical details about the failure and the page, with any user-entered text removed before sending.
Third parties
The site is served through a content delivery network, which processes your IP address to deliver pages and to protect against abuse. Fonts and scripts are hosted by FontGenerate rather than loaded from third-party servers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to its processing. Because FontGenerate does not hold personal data about visitors in normal operation, most requests can be satisfied by clearing your browser’s site data. For anything else, use the contact page.
Changes
This policy will be updated before any change to what is collected. The date at the top of the page reflects the last meaningful change.
