Your text
Text you enter into the generator is transformed entirely in your browser. It is not sent to FontGenerate or to any third party, it is not logged, and it is not saved between visits. When you switch the interface language, your text is kept in the page’s memory only until you reload or close the tab.
Copied text goes directly to your device’s clipboard. We do not record what was copied.
What is stored on your device
FontGenerate uses browser storage for two preferences. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics also sets first-party cookies:

The two fontgenerate.* values stay only in your browser and do not identify you. The _ga* cookies contain pseudonymous identifiers and are set only after you choose Accept. No Google request is made before that choice.
Consent
A consent bar appears on your first visit. Essential functionality never depends on it. Optional analytics and advertising scripts load only after you choose Accept; choosing Decline keeps the site fully usable. You can change your choice at any time from the link in the footer.
Analytics
FontGenerate is designed to measure whether the tool helps people complete their task without collecting the text they enter. Analytics events are limited to a fixed list — for example “a result was copied” with the style name, category, interface language, and page — and can never contain typed text, generated text, clipboard contents, or search terms.
After you choose Accept, FontGenerate uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-9B1CE4LS1M). It receives page views, session information, approximate location, browser and device details, and the fixed product events described above. Google uses the visitor IP address during collection to derive location information, then discards it before the data is logged. FontGenerate does not use User-ID or accounts.
Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalisation, Google Signals, and personalised-ad features are disabled. The intended Google Analytics user and event data retention is the shortest available setting, two months; that account-level setting is verified separately from this website’s code. Aggregated standard reports may be retained longer. To stop future analytics, open Cookie settings in the footer and choose Decline.
Advertising
FontGenerate does not currently show advertising. When it does, advertising partners, the consent mechanism, and the data they may process will be described here, and no advertising script will load before consent is given.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, your message and the email address you provide are sent by email to the FontGenerate team so that we can reply. They are not stored on this website. Our email provider processes them in order to deliver the message.
Error monitoring
When error monitoring is introduced, reports will contain technical details about the failure and the page, with any user-entered text removed before sending.
Third parties
The site is served through a content delivery network, which processes your IP address to deliver pages and to protect against abuse. Fonts and application scripts are hosted by FontGenerate. Only after consent, the Google tag loads from Google and measurement data is sent to Google Analytics.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to its processing. You can remove local preferences and analytics cookies by clearing the site’s data in your browser, and stop future measurement through Cookie settings. For anything else, use the contact page.
Changes
This policy will be updated before any change to what is collected. The date at the top of the page reflects the last meaningful change.
